PORTAGE, Mich.- Four people including three children were injured after a single vehicle crash Saturday morning in Portage.
According to Portage Department of Public Safety, the accident happened in the 6200 block of Sprinkle Rd around 9 a.m. Saturday morning. Officers state that the vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole.
The 46-year-old driver and three children ages 10,6, and 3 all sustained non-life threatening injuries in the accident. They were all transported to a Kalamazoo Hospital for treatment.
Officers say that the roads were icy at the time of the crash and encourage drivers to drive with care in these current weather conditions.
