One airlifted, two others taken by ambulance after crash

CANNON TOWNSHIP, Mich.– Kent County deputies are investigating a single car crash that happened early Thursday morning.

The crash happened near 9 Mile Road and Young Avenue in Rockford.

According to deputies, the car ran off the road and hit a tree. There were three occupants pinned inside, all in their twenties. The driver was airlifted to the hospital, while the two passengers were taken by ambulance. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

The crash remains under investigation.
