West Michigan Community Bank HQ and branches searched following bomb threat

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A bomb threat was phoned into the West Michigan Community Bank corporate office in Hudsonville on Monday.

According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, the phone threat came in around 4 p.m. and the caller stated there was an explosive device in one of their banks.

Deputies investigated locations in Jenison and Hudsonville and did not find anything suspicious.

Zeeland and Holland police also investigated local West Michigan Community Bank branches and did not find anything.

The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects are in custody as of post time.
