Anonymous donor drops two gold bars in Salvation Army’s red kettle

The Salvation Army is reporting that someone slipped two one-ounce Troy gold bars into one of the organization’s red kettles in Muskegon.They believe the mystery donation took place sometime Tuesday evening, outside the Wal Mart on  East Sherman in Muskegon.

The estimated value is approximately $1,185 per bar.
