GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--A men's shelter in Grand Rapids is dedicated to helping those in need.

Exodus Place calls it  a "hand up" not a  "hand out".

But, they could use some help this winter collecting blankets, coats and hats and much more for people in need.

This morning representatives from Exodus Place stopped by the studio to tell us how people can help.

Look into things further. I am a resident at Exodus. We all give our food stamps everymonth so why we need all the food donations??? Just dont make cents. Come look at the bathrooms and conditions of the building. Im only here cause im on parole. Munger had me working for free the last two months promising bus passes, but still have not gotten. He promises these guys he will pay to get them off the sex offender registry if they do what he wants them too. He is sick!!
