ANN ARBOR, Mich — On Tuesday, Jim Harbaugh was introduced as the new head football coach for the University of Michigan.

U-M called a noon press conference on Tuesday to make the official announcement.

Harbaugh played quarterback for the Wolverines under former coach Bo Schembechler and has success both at the college ranks (San Diego and Stanford) and the NFL (49ers).
