Aero Med called to Caledonia crash

CALEDONIA, Mich. — One person was taken to the hospital by Aero Med after the car they were driving struck a tree in Caledonia Thursday.

The crash happened in the area of 76th Street and Patterson Avenue at about 11:47 a.m., according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.

No other injuries have been reported at this time.  76th Street was closed in the area of Golf Meadow Drive to give Aero Med room to land at the scene, deputies said.

No other details about the crash are available.
