GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Emergency officials from multiple agencies are searching the Grand River Thursday for missing woman Kimberly Haymon.

Haymon, 55, was reported missing Wednesday.  She was last seen Tuesday getting off a bus at Fulton Street and Division Avenue, and investigators later found her purse near the Ford Museum with footprints leading toward the river.

According to a release, Haymon is 5 feet 2 inches tall, 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a green sweater, brown winter coat, brown winter boots and a winter cap that reads “Nerd.”   Police say she is schizophrenic and does not have her medication.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Grand Rapids Police at 616-456-3604.
