Fatal Muskegon hit-and-run suspect turns himself in
MUSKEGON, Mich. — A driver who allegedly struck Rory Deshawn Robinson in Muskegon and then fled the scene has turned himself in to police, according to the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office.
Robinson, 28, died Tuesday after being hit by two different vehicles near the intersection of Apple Avenue and Stevens Street on the night of Jan. 31.
The driver of the second vehicle, 33-year-old Ronna Lifer, stopped and called police after hitting him. However, she is facing charges of drugged driving for allegedly taking prescription pills and smoking marijuana prior to the crash.
