Bakery products recalled in Michigan for undeclared peanuts and almonds

HORSHAM, Penn. — Michigan is among the states where a recall in in effect for bagels whose labels fail to declare they may contain peanuts and almonds. This poses a danger for people allergic to peanuts or almonds.

Brands affected by the voluntary recall by Bimbo Bakeries USA include Thomas’ Everything, Whole Wheat, Plain Mini, Onion, and Plain bagels, and Sara Lee Blueberry, Cinnamon Raisin, and Plain bagels.

If you have any of these products as described in the FDA release, return the product to the store where they were purchase for a full refund. If you have questions, call 800-984-0989 at any time 24 hours a day.
