BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Students at Lakeview High School in Battle Creek were evacuated Monday when a frozen sprinkler head burst and flooded a school hallway.

According to district spokesperson Wendy Meyer, students were evacuated for less than two minutes after the burst caused the fire alarm to go off.

The Battle Creek Fire Department was called in to help turn the water off, Meyer said.
