Brides, booze, &; the big day; wedding season for West Michigan women

GRAND RAPIDS, MI. - With wedding season is right around the corner, couples and brides to be went to the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel for the 5th annual Grand Event; West Michigan's premiere wedding show for those planning on walking down the isle.
Grace Hill, Wedding Specialist, said The Grand Event is a time to get couples excited about their big day.
"It's probably one of the biggest days of their lives and they should be excited," said Hill.This year's Grand Event kicked off with wedding 101, a presentation helping couples and brides discover the most effective ways to have a wedding.
Attendees then relaxed with champagne and cake tasting while meeting with almost 40 hand selected vendors; picking out flowers, photographers, and anything wedding related.
Couples we spoke with enjoyed the elegance and freedom of the event. The only thing brides and couples had to pay for was parking and booze.
