COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. — Two people are in critical condition following a crash Sunday evening.

Police and fire departments responded to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of 6 Mile Road NW and Baumhoff Avenue NW around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police on scene said that a vehicle with three passengers was traveling south on Baumhoff when the driver failed to yield at a stop sign.  The second vehicle involved, an SUV traveling east on 6 Mile, was unable to avoid hitting the car after it drove into the intersection.

The two people sitting in the front of the car were left in critical condition following the impact.  A person in the back seat sustained minor injuries.
