KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A public safety officer is out of a job after being linked to prostitutes.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department confirms that Kalamazoo Public Safety officer Craig Jankowski  is no longer with the department following the arrest of an alleged prostitute in Battle Creek. The 27-year-old woman told police of the officer’s possible involvement with her.

Investigators searched the woman’s cell phone and discovered Jankowski’s phone number.  The Michigan State Police launched a two-month investigation and the officer was fired.

Authorities said no charges were brought against Jankowski because the alleged prostitute did not want to testify against him.

Say good bye to that job and it’s pension. Now days more and more of our Police and Court personnel such as the Asst Kzoo County Prosecutor and a number of off duty cops arrested for drinking and driving. I have been harping about Social decay..now it is effecting our Police and Officers of the Court which Prosecutors are. More and more of negative behavior about Police are starting to emerge, A GRPD Officer arrested for home invasion and Criminal Sexual Conduct. And at least a half dozen in W. Michigan arrested for DUI.
