GREENVILLE, Mich. — Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire at a Greenville dining and drinking establishment Friday evening.

At 5:47 p.m. Friday, the Greenville Department of Public Safety responded to a fire alarm at the 57 Brew Pub and Bistro, which was built not long ago on the former site of J.R.’s Roller Castle, across the street from Meijer at 1310 W. Washington St. (M-57)  in Greenville.

Firefighters found flames showing in a roof vent and were able to put out the fire quickly.

Everybody was evacuated safely from the building.

Three fire departments were originally called to the scene.

There were no injuries reported.
