Godwin Heights wins the schools first basketball state championship

EAST LANSING, Mich -- Godwin Heights beat Detroit Henry Ford, 85-68, to win the class B state championship, the schools first basketball title.

The Wolverines made 8-of-11 3-point field goals in the first half on their way to a 50-29 lead at the break.

Senior guard Delaney Blaylock led Godwin Heights (26-1) with 19 points, freshman Lamar Norman added 17 points.
