Michigan State beats Louisville, heads to the Final Four

SYRACUSE, NY --  Michigan State outscored Louisville 11-5 in overtime to beat the Cardinals, 76-70, and advance to the Final Four.

Senior guard Travis Trice led the Spartans with 17 points, junior guard Denzel Valentine added 15 points and junior guard Bryn Forbes scored 14.

Michigan State (27-11), which has struggled at free throw shooting all season, made 15 of 20 shots from the charity stripe.

Louisville (27-9) was led by junior forward Wayne Blackshear's game-high 28 points.

On Saturday, April 4, in Indianapolis the Spartans will play the Duke, who beat Gonzaga to win the South region.  It will mark Michigan State's seventh Final Four under head coach Tom Izzo.
