Money box stolen from disabled Girl Scout selling cookies

LANSING – The Lansing Police Department needs your help identifying a theft suspect after a money-box was stolen from a Kmart on the city’s south end on Sunday.

According to the police department’s Facebook page, the suspect took a money-box that was in place to help a disabled Girl Scout selling cookies.

The suspect was last seen getting into a black Dodge Dakota extended cab heading north on Cedar Street.

If you can identify the man seen in this surveillance image, or his vehicle, contact the Lansing Police Department at 517-483-6400 or Crime Stoppers at 517-483-7867.

Investigators say those that wish to assist the family with donations can contact the Girl Scout office at 1223 Turner Street, Suite 200 in Lansing in care of “Raven”.
