EAST LANSING – A teenager from Plymouth is now facing multiple  misdemeanor charges for his alleged role in disturbances at Michigan State University over the weekend following the men’s basketball team victories in the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight.

19-year-old Dylan Carl Bonell was charged this morning with two counts of disorderly conduct and for being a minor in possession of alcohol.  Police say the disorderly conduct charges include remaining within 300 feet of a fire and for hindering/assaulting/obstructing a police officer.

Bonell was arrested in the 1000 block of Waters Edge on March 28 immediately following the Sweet Sixteen victory.

Bonell now must adhere to a 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. curfew and submit to a daily breath test in order to stay out of jail on the $500 personal recognizance bond he was granted.

Bonell’s next court appearance is scheduled for April 30.

Bonell is one of 13 people arrested following the weekend disturbances at Michigan State University.
