VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich–A man was arrested after police found him with drugs and a loaded handgun Saturday.
The South Haven Police Department was called to the 300 block of Edgell just after 6:30 p.m. The caller told police they saw a man with a gun standing near the roadway.
Police found and arrested the suspect, an 18-year-old Kalamazoo man. They said the man was carrying a loaded handgun, as well as what they suspected to be cocaine and marijuana.
He was taken to the Van Buren County Jail, and is expected to be arraigned.
