KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The 2015 Kalamazoo Color Run happened Saturday morning and hundreds showed up to participate and be covered in color.

Erik Reed, from our friends at SkyzMedia, ran in the 5K event Saturday- but captured the event from a Go Pro camera, as well as from a drone they had up in the air.  The video shows an intimate perspective of the festivities; one usually reserved for those having colorful dust thrown over them.

The Color Run’s website says the organization has held events in over 50 different countries and lists only the following rules for the popular 5K:

1. Wear white at the starting line
2. Finish plastered in color!
