IONIA COUNTY – Deputies with the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office have released new dash camera images, trying to identify a driver involved in a high-speed chase early Sunday morning.

Investigators say a deputy attempted to stop a black Dodge Ram extended cab on Nash Highway near Portland Road and the driver refused to stop, taking off at a high rate of speed.  Michigan State Police joined the pursuit which lasted several miles, going into Kent County before the pursuit was called off.

Images released Tuesday give a better look at the suspect vehicle, which displayed a license plate of CFT5516, a plate reported stolen out of Ionia County.

A distinct emblem in the rear window of the truck is an outline of a bulldog.  The truck also has running boards and a metal toolbox behind the cab, along with dark-colored rims.

If you recognize the vehicle, or know the driver involved, contact Ionia County Central Dispatch at 616-527-0400 or Silent Observer at 616-527-0107.
