ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — Monty Ray Menefee’s vehicle  was found near the area of 111th Ave. and 62 St. in Casco Township outside of Fennville in Allegan County. Police are on scene and in the area searching for Menefee. Police say to avoid the area if possible.

Police believe that Menefee may still be in the area.

If you have seen Monty Ray Menefee or observe anything suspicious you’re asked to call 911.

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich.–Sheriff’s deputies and Coloma Township police are searching for a ‘person’ of interest after a woman was found dead Friday evening.

The call initially came in just before 6 p.m. as a possible attempted suicide in the 500 block of Washington St. in Coloma. Officers searched the building and found a 79-year-old Coloma woman dead inside.

The cause of death isn’t known at this time, but the incident is being treated as suspicious. Her name is not being released until next-of-kin are notified.

Law enforcement is searching for Monty Ray Menefee, 47, who’s from the Coloma/Watervliet area. Officials said he’s being treated as the aforementioned ‘person of interest’ in this case.
