LANSING, Mich. — All voters in Michigan will have Proposal 1 on their ballots today, Election Day. But many voters must make choices among local issues, such as school millages. So the state has made it possible to view your local ballot online.

If you know your precinct, using this link and making choices from the drop-down menu takes you to your ballot.

If you don’t remember your precinct number, you can fill in a little information about yourself here and click a link to your ballot.

As for Proposal 1, it can be hard to find a non-biased examination of the ballot issue, what it contains and what it will cost. A web site called BallotPedia, sponsored by the non-partisan, non-profit Lucy Burns Institute in Madison, Wisconsin, provides what might be the least biased, most complete information on Proposal 1.
