The lobby of the Ford International Airport quickly filled up with Tigers fans hoping to win the trip to St. Louis. The contest opened at 5 a.m. and by 6:20 a.m. six people were getting ready to board a morning flight to St. Louis.

People filed in to win the all inclusive three day trip to see the Detroit Tigers take on the St. Louis Cardinals.

“I’m here with my mom to win the trip to St. Louis to go see the baseball game," says elementary school student Aamiyah Castro who was missing class to be there.

While Aamiyah loves the Tigers, her mom Jocelyn admitted... “I’m addicted to entering contests, so hopefully we win this one.”

After posing for a group picture, the winners were called and six people out of the crowd were checking their bags to St. Louis.  Winner Cathy Johston says, “I was hoping I would, I was preparing to go. Not to come back home.”

Out of all six winners only one will be missing work. “I’m supposed to work all weekend, but I think it will be alright. Call in sick I guess,” explains Blake Selsbur.

If you like BBQ, go to Pappys in St. Louis ! I NEVER cared for BBQ until a trip to St Louis last year. My wife wanted to go there and I said ok and, well, I was not too fond of the sides (my wife loved them) but the meat was absolutely amazing ! We tried the brisket, turkey, and the ribs and all of them changed my view on BBQ and I have craved it ever since.
