Man found dead in Shelbyville home, MSP investigating

SHELBYVILLE – State police detectives are working to determine how a man died in his Shelbyville home on Sunday, telling FOX17 preliminary findings has them labeling the death as suspicious.

Several troopers are involved in the investigation in the 11000 block of Keller Road, which started early Sunday afternoon.  A search warrant for the home was obtained a few hours into the investigation.

Investigators say autopsy results will help supply additional answers, which is expected in the coming days.

State police haven’t identified the man who was found deceased, only saying he was a middle-aged man with apparent health complications prior to his death.

A man who investigators say is an acquaintance of the deceased male was at the home today and is cooperating with the investigation.
