Rollover crash injures 2 teens

POLKTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two teenagers are being treated for injuries following a rollover crash early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to the crash just after 2:00 a.m. Sunday on west bound I-96, just east of 68th Avenue.

Ontario Deshawn, a 19-year-old from Muskegon, was driving a 2009 Dodge Charger when he reportedly lost control to due to unknown reasons.  His vehicle went off the road into a ditch, where it overturned.

Both Deshawn and a passenger in the vehicle, a 16-year-old female Arionne Johnson from Muskegon, both suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident.

Deputies said that Johnson was taken to a Muskegon area hospital by a passerby who witnessed the crash.  Deshawn was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
