PORTAGE, Mich. -- Officers with the Portage Department of Public Safety said they found up to 30 firearms in a residence previously shared by Sean and Aaron Pelletier and their siblings.  The two brothers lead officers on a chase May 14 that ended with officers shooting and killing Sean Pelletier, 37.

CGXM4PVUkAAeI6JOfficers were on scene Sunday afternoon searching for weapons at the siblings' most recent residence in the 4000 block of Raborn Court following an incident with the Pelletier's sisters Saturday night.

The sisters were staying in a residence owned by their mother when officers arrived Saturday night to execute a search warrant on the residence.

Officers tell FOX 17 the warrant was issued because they had received several calls from neighbors in the area hearing gunshots Saturday in addition to the sisters' connection to Sean and Aaron.

Officers tried to make contact with the sisters Saturday by calling them, blowing horns and, and eventually using tear gas to get them to cooperate.  The sisters tried to flee out the back of the home but were quickly detained by police.

Two of the home's windows were blown out in the process of deploying the tear gas.

Officers say the two sisters will be arraigned on charges of resisting and obstructing justice Monday morning.  Both sisters reportedly had warrants out for their arrest after failing to answer the court relating to them being evicted from the home where they were living.

Officers were on scene with a bomb squad most of Sunday morning and afternoon, but began to wrap up around 6:00 p.m.
