4 charged in Cass Co. armed robbery

MARCELLUS, Mich. — Three Sturgis men and a Middlebury, Ind. woman are facing charges after an armed robbery in Marcellus.

According to Michigan State Police, 20-year-old Michael Strong, 17-year-old James Robert Jones II, 19-year-old Bradley Dewayne Shears and 20-year-old Kayla Sue Cockburn were all arrested in connection with the Jan. 1 robbery at Yummies & More, 52990 M-40.

All four suspects are facing charges of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and felony firearm, police said in a release.
