Authorities identify suspect tied to Check ‘N Go armed robbery

WYOMING – Detectives with the Wyoming Police Department have identified a male suspect they believe is responsible for an armed robbery at the Check ‘N go at 160 28th Street on Monday.

30-year-old Montai Riley was armed with a revolver when he entered the store and demanded money from an employee at approximately 2:10 p.m.

Riley was able to take cash from the store before running west then south from that location.

No employees were injured during the robbery.

In a press release issued on Monday, investigators said they believe Riley is also tied to a similar robbery at the same Check ‘N go on April 9, 2015.

Riley was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and black pants.  he’s approximately 6’0″, 200 pounds.  Investigators believe Riley has connections around the state including ties to the Detroit and Traverse City areas.
