HUDSONVILLE, Mich.--They've grown in popularity over the years as more people decide to downsize their lives.

They're called tiny homes, and thanks to one entrepreneur, they're now available in West Michigan.

Travis Rabenberg created the company MiTinyHome back in January, and says, tiny homes are a growing hit.

"A lot of people really liking it, it's been published all over the place, it's getting pretty big. You got a full-blown house, it's just miniaturized," Rabenberg said.

Miniaturized, downsized, whatever you want to call it, Rabenberg knew these tiny homes were hitting it off nationwide, and didn't want to miss out on the money-saving rush.

"Living large on a small budget," he said.

Rabenberg says the 10 X 20 foot homes are not only a great way to cut your mortgage in half, they're perfect for guest houses, pool houses, cabins and cottages.

"Right now, we're seeing a big demand in secondary living," he said.

Customers can choose from three styles: Basic, standard, or luxury, starting at $15,000 ranging up to $32,000 respectively.
