Fatal car accident in Coldwater Township

COLDWATER TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A teen driver died in a car accident that also injured two passengers Saturday afternoon.

At approximately 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, Isabella County Sheriff’s Department responded to a car accident on W. North County Line Rd., west of Sherman Rd. in Coldwater Township Michigan.

Daniel Bronis, a 17-year-old from Lake, was identified as the driver.

The investigation found that they were heading east when Bronis lost control, sending the vehicle off of the road, ejecting Bronis. The car fell on top of him.

The passengers, 15-year-old Scott Martin and 17-year-old Breanna Herman from Evart, sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

The extent of their injuries is unknown.

Deputies believe that alcohol was not a factor.

The accident is still under investigation.
