GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The forecast is looking nice and all three Grand Rapids city pools will be open for the 4th of July.

The pools at Briggs Park, Richmond Park and MLK Park will be open from 12:30pm – 4:30pm.  Grand Rapids kids will swim free and Grand Rapids adults will get half off of the $2 admission.  Admission for non-residents is $4.

An anonymous donor who is a long-time Grand Rapids resident is covering staffing costs for the holiday.  Grand Rapids entrepreneur Bob Sullivan is covering the $1 pool admission fee for kids all summer, up to 28,000 kids.
