Drumming at the Sweetgrass Moon Powwow

HASTINGS, Mich. -- The Sweetgrass Moon Powwow kicked off Saturday morning around 9am.  This is a cultural celebration of the Pottawatomi traditions.  The event is open to the public and completely free... providing a variety of both fun and educational things to do.  This event is most commonly known for it's hand-drumming and dancing.  It's happening at Jijak Camp in Hastings on Saturday from 9:00am until 9:30pm... and Sunday from 9:00am until 4:30pm.  For more information head to the Sweetgrass Moon website.
