BRANCH COUNTY, Mich. — A search spanning two days ended this morning with the arrests of four fugitives.

Yesterday afternoon, Michigan State Police responded to a report of gun shots heard around Noble Township. Troopers said that when they arrived to the area of Round Lake Rd & Hedgecock Road, several people ran into the woods.

A K-9 unit – along with a helicopter provided by MSP Aviation – assisted in the search. Two of the fugitives were located and taken into custody that day.

Earlier this morning, troopers were told that the remaining two fugitives were seen walking around the same area. After searching the area, both men were arrested.
