Officials investigating house fire in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich.— Residents are without a place to live this morning after a fire breaks out in a home on the city’s west side.

Everyone inside the home was able to escape and we’re told there are no injuries.

The cause and origin of the fire is currently under investigation.

Flames and heavy smoke caused damage to the home despite the majority of the flames being under control 30 minutes after fire departments arrived on scene.

Six residents are displaced and requesting assistance from the American Red Cross.
