BETHESDA, Md. — The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a handful of new recalls this week, including products that parents of baseball players will want to know about.

Recalled catcher/umpire masks
Diamond Sports face masks — Stitching on the face mask’s harness can fail causing the mask to loosen or come off, posing a risk of impact injury. About 10,000 units are impacted. The firm has received 36 reports of the stitching failing on the harnesses. No injuries have been reported. Replacement harnesses are available. Click here for more information on this recall.
Recalled Arctic Cat vehicles
Arctic Cat Prowler 500 HDX — Fuel can leak from the fuel fitting at the throttle body, posing a fire hazard. About 2,700 units are impacted. No injuries have been reported. Free repairs are available. Click here for more information on this recall.
Recalled children’s sweaters
Kyber Outwear Children’s Animal-themed Sweaters — The sweaters have a drawstring around the neck area that poses a strangulation hazard to children. About 3,100 units are impacted. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately take the recalled sweater away from kids and remove the drawstring, or return the sweater to Kyber Outerwear for a full credit for Kyber products.
