GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Bull’s Head Tavern’s Pulled Bacon Dutch Crunch won the 2015 Grandwich competition.
The $10 sandwich contains marinated pulled pork belly bacon with avocado, lettuce, Jalapenos, red cabbage slaw, tomatoes and a dijon sriracha aioli, according to the Grandwich website.
The second place entry this year was the Cuban Pork Mojo at San Chez Bistro. In third place was Stella’s What Happens at Stella’s Stays At Stella’s.
The People’s Choice Award went to City Sen Lounge for their Ricky Ricardo sandwich.
A total of 26 sandwiches from local restaurants were competing for the prize this year. A panel of judges determined a winner after the top 10 entries were announced earlier this week.
