CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was treated for smoke inhalation after a car fire broke out in the parking garage of the Gerald R. Ford International Airport on Sunday night, according to airport officials.
That person was treated at the scene and not taken to the hospital.
The fire started on the second level of the parking garage but was out by around 9:40 p.m., the airport posted on its Facebook page.
Seven vehicles in total were affected by the fire, but the extent of damage is not clear, nor is the cause of the fire.
The garage was reopened shortly after 10:00.
