Attic fire damages Grand Rapids home

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich – Firefighters in Grand Rapids are still working to determine what caused a fire that damaged a home on the city’s southeast side Sunday evening.

Crews were dispatched to the 500 block of Glenwood Avenue shortly after 10:00 p.m.

Investigators say they were able to contain the fire in the home to the attic, which appears to be where the fire started.

No injuries were reported by crews at the scene.
