I-96 reopens in Ionia County after crash

PORTLAND, Mich. — The eastbound lanes of I-96 were blocked by a multiple vehicle crash Monday morning. There were no injuries, but the cab of a semi involved in the crash caught fire.

The highway re-opened just before 1:00pm.

The crash occurred after the Grand River Avenue exit 77. The entrance ramp to eastbound I-96 was also closed from Grand River Avenue.

The crash occurred around 10:20 a.m.
