GREENVILLE Mich. -- Sonya Trevino of Greenville was distraught after she dropped a wedding dress to be cleaned at Gay's Cleaners when the cleaners closed down. She tried to call the number on the door multiple times but only got voicemail, and the voicemail box was full.

After months of trying to track them down, Trevino finally has the dress.

Gay's Cleaners closed almost a year ago at their location in Greenville. Trevino said they never contacted her to give her wedding dress back.

"It's a dress," Trevino said, "they had for far too long."

She said she called the number several times, but the voicemail was full.

The owners did not return calls from Problem Solvers for an interview or a statement, but they told Trevino why it took so long. They told her the tag on the box was ripped off, so they couldn't return it.

"It was a lot of stress, because I was worried about how I was going to find them again," Trevino said.

"Without the Problem Solvers, I don't think I would have found them."

Trevino said the owner of Gay's Cleaners says she has a lot of wedding dresses to get back to people.

Now, Trevino can give the dress to her boyfriend's daughter.
