Police investigating after 2 men shot in Muskegon

MUSKEGON, Mich. — Two men suffered gunshot wounds in Muskegon just before midnight Wednesday night.

Shortly after midnight, the pair showed up at different times at the emergency room at the Mercy Health Hackley Campus in Muskegon. One man had been shot in the chest and the other in the back. Both wounds were non-life-threatening.

“We cannot say with any certainty” what location they were shot at, Muskegon Police Department Det. Capt. Shawn Bride told FOX 17 NEWS Thursday evening. He noted that “this investigation has taken a turn” and said the details are still evolving.

The shootings remain under investigation by Muskegon Police.
