GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Police are investigating thefts and vandalism at a Grand Rapids church.

It happened at the City of Pentecost Church on Ball Street.  Bishop Melvin Jorden tells FOX 17 that he received a call Friday morning about the break-in and when he arrived, police were already on the scene.

Jorden tells us after going through the building, he noticed only certain areas were targeted and it may have been an "inside job."

About $2,000 was stolen from the financial office and about $20,000 in damage was done, mostly to the electrical systems in the building.  Jorden says they'll rent a generator and still have services this weekend.
