Jimmy John’s restaurant in Grand Rapids robbed at gunpoint

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police are trying to find a suspect who robbed a Jimmy John’s restaurant at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

It happened shortly before 7:00 a.m. at the Jimmy John’s located at 1266 Leonard NE.

Police say a masked man armed with a handgun held someone up and was able to get away.  When our crew arrived, detectives were still in the process of gathering evidence.

There were no reports of any injuries.
