LANSING, Mich. - State of Michigan inspectors have found two more credit card skimmers on West Michigan gas pumps.
One of the skimmers, devices plugged in to the credit card readers that record the card data for scammers to use, was found at the Marathon station near the Kalamazoo airport on Portage Road in Portage. The second was found at another Marathon station off M-51 in Paw Paw.
The Michigan Department of Agriculture's Weights and Measures inspectors are checking around the state for skimmers and have been "blitzing" areas. Several skimmers have been found in recent weeks.
