Michigan State and Michigan set to renew rivalry on Satuday

Michigan State (6-0) has won six of the last seven meetings against rival Michigan (5-1) on the football field.

This season the Spartans are undefeated but are coming off close wins against Rutgers (31-24) and Purdue (24-21) and are battling the injury bug.

The Wolverines have won five straight games since losing the season opener to Utah (6-0) and that includes last weeks blowout of previously unbeaten Northwestern (38-0).

Michigan has shutout each of its last three opponents which has not been done in college football since 1995.

Kickoff Saturday in Ann Arbor is set for 3:30 p.m..
