KENT COUNTY, Mich – Authorities have announced the arrest of two domestic violence suspects in connection to a Silent Observer campaign that’s running during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Curt Jason Rounds, 23, was located and arrested in Grand Rapids on Wednesday based on a tip from Silent Observer.  Federal authorities say Rounds was caught in the 900 block of Prospect Avenue NE by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and a Grand Rapids Police Department Canine Officer.

Rounds, who was featured on West Michigan’s Most Wanted in early October, was initially wanted on a felony domestic violence warrant out of Wyoming.

The alleged crime, which happened in June, accuses Rounds of attacking his girlfriend, throwing her off a bed and attempting to rip her shirt off before running away prior to police arriving at the scene.

Federal authorities say Rounds was on probation for a prior conviction involving domestic violence that happened earlier in 2015.  A separate prior domestic assault offense makes June’s alleged crime his third offense.

Celeise Dawn King, 23, was arrested by the Kentwood Police Department on Friday according to online Kent County jail records.  King is being held on a domestic violence charge out of Wyoming, and also has a parole detainer on her record out of Ingham County.
