GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- For a few hours on Thursday, the vehicle service Uber is providing kittens to riders in a one-day program that will benefit the Humane Society of West Michigan.
From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Uber riders in Grand Rapids can push a special 'KITTENS' button in the Uber app for a 'snuggle fee' of $30. Once the kittens arrive, users and their friends will get 15 minutes to play with the cuddly kittens. They are being chaperoned by a shelter representative and an Uber representative.
All kittens are also eligible for adoption.
