Coffee mugs sold at Christian stores recalled for burn hazard

BETHESDA, Md. — The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of certain ceramic coffee mugs, because hot liquid can seep through hairline fractures in the mug and burn consumers.

Lighthouse Ceramic Mugs — Hot liquids can seep through hairline cracks, posing a burn hazard.  About 4,400 units are impacted in the recall.  The firm received a report of one incident. No injuries have been reported.  Sold at Family Christian Stores, Lifeway Christian Stores, Mardel, many smaller Christian bookstores and online at www.christianbook.com.  The mugs can be returned for a full refund.  Click here for more information.
